The Partners are pleased to announce the following schedule of events for 2011:

  1. Friday 4 March 2011, 8am - noon
    ENVIRONMENT: Building or renovating for a Greener Workplace
  2. Friday 3 June 2011, 4.30pm - 7.30pm
    WORKPLACE: How to Grow Up
  3. Thursday 8 September 2011 from 17.00, the Marshall Group, Newmarket Road
    INCLUDING THE COMMUNITY - good business relations with local communities

    Please join us for a discussion of how Businesses can interact and engage (more) responsibly with the various Communities in which they operate as suppliers, employers, buyers or otherwise.

    There will be 3 short talks, from i) the Marshall Group about their diverse 'community' commitments, ii) Future Business about its innovative "community bond" and iii) the Cambridgeshire Community Foundation about its interactions across our county. After these intial thoughts a panel of the 3 plus participants from Taylor Vinters and Business in the Community will discuss with each other and with the audience - your opportunity!

    • 17.30 Introduction, talks and panel discussion
    • 19.00 networking, drinks and finger buffet (CRF thanks to the Marshall Group)
    • 20.00 Close

    Those attending by car should park in the Visitors' Car Park a the Marhsall Aerospace Main Entrance on Newmarket Road. Arriving from Cambridge this is on the right, opposite the Land Rover dealership; aim for Gate A and park behind it, then return to Gate A Reception where you will be directed to the Conference Rooms.

    Confirmed speakers include Julian Huppert MP, Warren East CEO of ARM, Prof Sean Rickard of Cranfield School
    of Management and Michael Barry, Head of Sustainable Business, Marks and Spencer.
